Designation : Senior Software Engineer - PHP Developer

Role Overview:


At matrimony we have a strong technology platform and use AI & ML to help customers find their ideal match. The technical non portal department allows users to connect with one another and find content that is relevant with ease and simplicity. The team is responsible for all round web portal development, maintenance and support. The team uses the most suitable technologies for business needs and ensures an immense level of personalization and usability of portals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Planning, designing, developing, debugging, implementing and supporting web-based applications and services.Modifying existing software to correct errors, allowing it to function in new operating environments
• Adhering to project coding standards and recommending improvements.
• Improving software quality by conducting systems analysis.
• Extensive work on open source by working on platforms such as Database - MySQL, Web Server Technology (Memcache, Jquery/JSONP, JSON/XML, Image magick, Facial Recognition), Social Media Applications (Twitter Auth Integration, Facebook application/FBML) etc.
• Troubleshooting complex Apps issues.
• Create/review/audit technical specifications
• Adhere to internal processes and tools to deliver projects, programs
• Participate in regular meetings and provide status updates

Skills and Competencies

• Knowledge in JavaScript, Jquery, HTML, Ajax/XML/JSON
• Knowledge in Web Services/REST/SOAP etc.
• Strong knowledge in OOPs and RDBMS.
• Strong logical, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge in Payment Gateway Integration like PayPal, Authorize.net etc. would be added advantage.
• Must have fluent communication in English / regional language

Education and Experience
