Position Overview:

As a Yoga School Photographer and Videographer, your primary responsibility is to capture high-quality photos and videos that showcase the essence and beauty of yoga practice, classes, events, and other related activities conducted at the yoga school. You will work closely with instructors, students, and staff to document their experiences and create visual content that aligns with the school's branding and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Photography and Videography:

• Capture compelling images and videos of yoga classes, workshops, retreats, and other events held at the yoga school.
• Utilize your technical skills to ensure proper lighting, composition, and framing in all photographs and videos.
• Edit and retouch photos, ensuring they meet the desired quality standards and reflect the school's aesthetic.
• Edit and assemble videos, incorporating music, graphics, and other elements to create engaging and visually appealing content.

Content Creation and Documentation:

• Collaborate with instructors, students, and staff to plan and execute photoshoots and video shoots that align with the school's goals.
• Regularly attend yoga classes and events to capture authentic and candid moments that showcase the yoga school's unique atmosphere.
• Create a library of high-quality visual assets that can be used for marketing materials, website updates, social media posts, and promotional campaigns.
• Maintain organized and accessible archives of all photos and videos for easy retrieval and future use.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a professional photographer and videographer, preferably with experience in capturing yoga or fitness-related content.
• Proficient in operating DSLR cameras, lighting equipment, video cameras, and relevant software for editing and post-production.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to capture high-quality photographs and videos in various settings.
• Excellent knowledge of composition, lighting, and other technical aspects of photography and videography.
• Familiarity with yoga and an understanding of its principles, poses, and community dynamics is highly desirable.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for capturing authentic and inspiring moments.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with instructors, students, and staff.
