VIS is a large and fast-growing network of teams located throughout North America, Europe, Africa and Asia, focused on Video production, 3D content support, automated image acquisition and image support services. The team is constantly innovating and setting new industry standards for showcasing millions of products across multiple global marketplaces.
Amazon is seeking a highly skilled and creative Videographer to join its fast-paced imaging studio. This role requires in-depth technical expertise and a passion for continuously pushing the boundaries of traditional e-commerce videography. The Videographer will be responsible for the execution of varying video formats, with a specialized focus on post-production and editing processes for new video experiences.
The Videographer will oversee the technical execution of the video production process, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and creative vision. They will create short-term solutions to optimize workflows, boost productivity, and minimize costs while maintaining high-quality output. Specializing in post-production and editing processes for new, innovative video experiences, the Videographer will play a central role in supporting strategic initiatives that impact multiple studios and partners, shaping the future of how Amazon leverages video to connect with customers and drive sales.
Collaboration is key, as the Videographer will work with cross-functional teams, such as design, IT, and information security, to define solutions, mitigate risks, and maintain compliance with evolving technologies. Additionally, the Videographer will train both internal and external videographers on technical skills, style guides, and imaging tools to ensure consistent adherence to standards.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Videographer or similar role in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. They should be proficient in video production, post-production, and editing using industry-standard software and tools, with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of visual consistency and brand guidelines. A passion for innovation and a desire to push the boundaries of traditional e-commerce videography are essential, as is a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Key job responsibilities1.
