Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of venipuncture techniques, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent patient care. As a phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare facility by accurately and efficiently collecting blood specimens for testing and analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Perform venipuncture on patients using proper techniques to ensure the collection of high-quality blood specimens.
• Verify patient identity and ensure correct labeling of blood samples to prevent errors in the testing process.
• Follow established protocols and procedures for specimen collection, handling, and transportation to maintain sample integrity.
• Provide clear instructions to patients regarding the blood collection process and address any concerns or questions they may have.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of biohazardous materials and adherence to infection control guidelines.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, physicians, and laboratory staff, to ensure coordinated patient care and timely processing of specimens.
• Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay current on best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements in phlebotomy.
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program preferred.
• Certification as a phlebotomy technician (CPT) or equivalent credentialing from a recognized certifying agency.
• Proven experience of Minimum 1 Year in venipuncture techniques and blood specimen collection in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions to ensure accuracy and quality in specimen processing.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, safety regulations, and infection control practices related to phlebotomy procedures.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to adhere to confidentiality standards and maintain patient privacy at all times.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
