Phlebotomist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients for laboratory testing, while providing exceptional patient care and adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collect blood samples from patients using various phlebotomy techniques
2. Verify patient identity and label samples accurately.
3. Prepare patients for blood draws, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
4. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to infection control policies.
5. Handle and transport samples to the laboratory for testing.
6. Perform basic laboratory tests
7. Provide excellent patient care, respecting confidentiality and dignity.
8. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow.
9. Maintain accurate records and reports.
10. Participate in quality control and quality improvement initiatives.
