Key Responsibilities :
• Management of Pharmacy Operations :
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring timely dispensing of prescribed medications.
• Ensure the pharmacy complies with relevant health and safety regulations, including laws governing the sale and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
• Supervise pharmacy staff, ensuring proper training, work allocation, and performance management.
• Ensure the pharmacy is adequately staffed to handle peak hours and busy periods.
• Inventory Management :
• Maintain and monitor stock levels to ensure that medications and supplies are available at all times.
• Order and receive pharmaceutical products in a timely manner, ensuring stock rotation and proper storage.
• Maintain a proper record of pharmaceutical inventory and conduct regular audits.
• Monitor and manage the expiration dates of medications to avoid wastage and ensure safety.
• Medication Dispensing & Patient Safety :
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and ensure the correct medications are dispensed to patients.
• Counsel patients on the safe and proper use of medications, including side effects, dosage, and storage requirements.
• Address any patient concerns regarding medications and provide appropriate solutions or escalate when necessary.
• Ensure that controlled substances are handled and dispensed according to legal requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance & Documentation :
• Ensure the pharmacy adheres to local, state, and federal pharmaceutical regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, purchases, and controlled substances as per regulatory requirements.
• Submit required reports on inventory, narcotics, and other compliance-related matters.
• Customer Service & Patient Education :
• Provide high-quality customer service, addressing patients' concerns and questions regarding their medications.
• Actively educate patients about the proper usage of over-the-counter and prescription medications.
• Offer health advice where appropriate, including lifestyle and wellness information.
• Collaboration & Coordination :
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, etc.) to provide optimal patient care.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and other departments for smooth pharmacy operations.
• Participate in pharmacy meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of services.

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
