International Sales Manager

Job Title: International Sales Manager - Ayurveda/Nutraceuticals
Reports to: Director of Sales/Head of International Business
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced International Sales Manager to lead and expand the global market reach for our Ayurveda and nutraceutical products. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of natural wellness products, market trends, and international business strategies. You will be responsible for driving international sales growth, managing relationships with distributors, identifying new markets, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- International Market Expansion:
- Develop and execute international sales strategies to grow the market for Ayurveda and nutraceutical products in key regions (Asia, Europe, North America, Middle East, etc.).
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships in target countries.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and customer needs specific to natural health products.
- Compliance & Regulatory Affairs:
- Ensure all international sales activities comply with country-specific regulations, including product registration, labelling, and advertising.
- Coordinate with internal teams to handle export documentation, customs clearance, and certifications.
- Marketing & Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop region-specific marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Participate in international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Provide regular sales reports, including forecasts, pipeline status, and competitive analysis.
- Track market trends, customer feedback, and sales performance metrics to make informed business decisions.
### Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or related field. A background in natural sciences, Ayurveda, or healthcare is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 2-7 years of experience in international sales, preferably in the Ayurveda, nutraceutical, or wellness industry.
- Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ayurveda, herbal products, and nutraceuticals, including ingredients, formulations, and benefits.
- Communication: Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in a multicultural setting.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with international trade regulations, product registration, and compliance in various countries.
- Languages: Proficiency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish, French, or Arabic) are highly desirable.
