We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Political Science to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Political Science to senior secondary school students, preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and contributing to the development of the department. Key Responsibilities: Instruction and Curriculum Development: Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Political Science to senior secondary students (Grades 11-12). Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that adheres to educational standards and school policies. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Assessment and Evaluation: Design and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. Student Engagement and Support: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Identify and support students with varying academic needs and provide additional help when necessary. Encourage critical thinking and debate on contemporary political issues. Professional Development and Collaboration: Participate in departmental meetings, school functions, and professional development opportunities. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and share best practices. Stay current with developments in the field of Political Science and education. Extracurricular Activities: Mentor students in related extracurricular activities such as debate club, model United Nations, or student government. Organize and participate in school events, seminars, and workshops relevant to Political Science. Qualifications:Education: Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Political Science or a closely related field. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching certification. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level. Proven track record of successful student outcomes in Political Science. Skills: Strong knowledge of Political Science concepts, theories, and contemporary issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes. Ability to inspire and motivate students. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with curriculum development and instructional design. Familiarity with the CBSE/ICSE/IB curriculum. Involvement in professional organizations related to Political Science or education.
