Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) for Physical Education (PHE) to join our educational institution. The PGT-PHE will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering high-quality physical education programs to students, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education curriculum that meets state and national standards.
• Design age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate a variety of physical activities and sports.
• Instruction:
• Conduct engaging and effective physical education classes for students of different age groups and abilities.
• Teach students the fundamentals of various sports and physical activities.
• Promote the importance of physical fitness, healthy living, and sportsmanship.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
• Assess students' physical abilities and monitor their progress.
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents on performance and improvement areas.
• Maintain accurate records of students' participation, achievements, and progress.
• Extracurricular Activities:
• Organize and supervise school sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
• Coach and mentor school sports teams, encouraging students to participate in inter-school competitions.
• Health and Safety:
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all physical activities.
• Educate students on injury prevention, safety protocols, and first aid.
• Maintain and manage sports equipment and facilities.
• Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration to integrate physical education with the overall educational program.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in physical education.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• A Master's degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) or a related field from a recognized university.
• Additional certifications in coaching, fitness training, or first aid will be an advantage.
• Experience:
• Previous experience of seven to eight years of teaching physical education at the school level is preferred.
• Experience in coaching sports teams or leading physical fitness programs is desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?44,560.00 per month
