Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Mathematics Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) to join our dedicated academic team. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's Degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) qualification. As a PGT for Mathematics, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to secondary and senior secondary students, promoting analytical thinking, and ensuring students develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Mathematics to senior secondary students (Grades 11 and 12) in a structured and engaging manner. Plan, develop, and deliver effective lessons that adhere to the curriculum. Create and implement assessments to evaluate student progress. Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and application of mathematical principles. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students. Use modern teaching tools and technology to enhance the learning experience. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to explore mathematical concepts with confidence. Offer additional academic support to students who need assistance. Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and departmental initiatives.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Mathematics from a recognized university. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the senior secondary level. In-depth knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum, syllabus, and exam structure. Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with students and staff. Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.

Desirable Skills:

Experience in teaching at a reputed educational institution. Familiarity with using educational technologies and digital learning platforms. A passion for fostering a love for Mathematics in students. Continuous professional development mindset.
