Job Summary

:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PGT Mathematics Teacher to join our residential school. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching mathematics, committed to nurturing students' academic growth, and willing to take on responsibilities beyond classroom teaching, including after-school preparation classes.

Key Responsibilities

:

Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive mathematics lessons for students, following the school's curriculum (CBSE/IGCSE). Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Organize and lead after-school preparation classes to support students' learning needs. Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to simplify complex mathematical concepts. Collaborate with colleagues, school staff, and parents to support students' overall development. Maintain accurate records of student performance and participation. Participate in school events, workshops, and professional development programs. Ensure the holistic development of students by fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a love for mathematics.

Qualifications and Skills

:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience as a Mathematics Teacher, preferably in a residential school setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and inspire students with diverse learning needs. Commitment to the school's ethos and willingness to actively participate in the residential school environment.

Additional Requirements

Willingness to stay on campus. The school provides food and accommodation to ensure a comfortable living environment. Flexibility to handle after-school preparation classes and other academic activities.
