Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Curriculum Delivery

• Lesson Planning :
• Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum prescribed by the school board (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
• Cover topics such as prose, poetry, drama, grammar, and writing skills.
• Classroom Instruction :
• Teach key concepts in English Literature and Language with a focus on comprehension, vocabulary, and literary analysis.
• Use innovative teaching methods, including storytelling, debates, role-plays, and interactive activities to engage students.
• Evaluation and Assessment :
• Prepare and administer assignments, tests, and projects to evaluate students' understanding and progress.
• Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of student performance.
• Board Exam Preparation :
• Train students to write structured answers, analyze texts, and interpret literary works.
• Conduct revision sessions and provide guidance for board exam strategies.

Student Mentorship

• Encourage students to participate in literary activities, such as debates, declamations, and creative writing competitions.
• Provide individualized attention to students, addressing their specific academic challenges and language development needs.

Content Development and Resource Management

• Create high-quality study materials, notes, and supplementary resources to enhance learning.
• Stay updated with syllabus changes and contemporary trends in English Literature and Language.

Parent and School Communication

• Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss students' academic progress and areas of improvement.
• Collaborate with other faculty members and administrators to ensure a holistic educational experience for students.

Extracurricular Contributions

• Organize and participate in literary events, such as book clubs, theatre performances, and English week celebrations.
• Support students in preparing for external exams and competitions, such as Olympiads or language proficiency tests.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?55,000.00 per month
