Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced PGT English and Sociology Teacher to join our senior secondary faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to students in grades 9, 10 , 11 and 12, preparing students for board examinations, and fostering critical thinking and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:Teaching and Learning:

Deliver subject content for English and Sociology as per the prescribed curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board). Create and implement lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with academic standards. Use innovative teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning needs. Encourage student participation through discussions, debates, projects, and presentations.

Assessment and Evaluation:

Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student performance. Provide constructive feedback and academic support.

Classroom Management:

Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom. Encourage a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.

Curriculum and Professional Development:

Participate in curriculum planning and academic review meetings. Stay updated with latest educational trends and practices. Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions as required.

Collaboration and Communication:

Coordinate with other teachers and departments for interdisciplinary learning. Maintain open communication with parents through PTMs and regular updates.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Master's Degree in English and Sociology B.Ed. (mandatory). Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level preferred. Proficiency in spoken and written English. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to use technology in teaching (e.g., smart boards, online platforms).

Preferred Qualities:

Experience in CBSE/ICSE/State Board systems. Passion for teaching and mentoring adolescents. Enthusiastic, approachable, and student-focused attitude.

Pay: ?60,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
