Edify World School Attapur, Hyderabad is hiring PGT Economics Teacher with 3-5 years experience in CAIE curriculum.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Economics teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible to teach subjects to students at various levels, preparing engaging lesson plans, conducting experiments, and fostering a stimulating learning environment. The teacher will also be expected to support students' academic and personal growth, participate in departmental meetings, and contribute to the development of the science curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruction and Curriculum Development:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in Physics and Chemistry.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with curriculum standards.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to address different learning styles and needs.
• Integrate technology and hands-on experiments to enhance learning.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
• Design and implement assessments that measure student understanding and progress.
• Grade and provide feedback on student work in a timely manner.
• Use assessment data to adjust teaching strategies and improve student learning outcomes.
• Classroom Management:
• Establish and maintain a positive, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote a respectful and productive learning atmosphere.
• Address student behavior issues promptly and constructively.
• Student Support and Engagement:
• Provide individual and group support to help students succeed academically.
• Encourage student participation and engagement in science-related activities.
• Mentor and advise students on academic and career goals related to science.
• Professional Development and Collaboration:
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the instructional program and share best practices.
• Attend and contribute to departmental and school-wide meetings.
• Extracurricular Involvement:
• Support and/or lead science clubs, competitions, and other extracurricular activities.
• Organize and chaperone field trips and science-related events as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree ; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience: Previous teaching experience in Economics at the middle or high school level preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
