Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified, dynamic, and experienced

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Economics

to join our esteemed institution. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and mentoring students at the senior secondary level (Grades 11 and 12, CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum), with a deep understanding of economic theory, practical application, and academic best practices.

The candidate should have excellent communication skills, a learner-centered teaching approach, and the ability to inspire and engage students in meaningful and critical thinking around economic concepts. Familiarity with current pedagogical trends, digital teaching tools, and differentiated instruction methods is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Economics in accordance with the curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board). Develop comprehensive lesson plans that meet learning objectives and incorporate modern teaching methodologies. Explain complex economic concepts such as supply and demand, macroeconomics, microeconomics, national income, inflation, banking, fiscal policy, etc., in an accessible and student-friendly manner. Conduct assessments, quizzes, and assignments regularly to evaluate student performance. Prepare students thoroughly for board examinations, competitive exams, and higher education readiness. Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and discussion among students to help them develop analytical skills. Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development. Provide feedback to students and parents/guardians during PTMs and as required. Integrate technology and e-learning tools into classroom instruction, where appropriate. Participate in school events, faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and other school-related activities. Support students with career counseling and guidance in the field of Economics and related areas. Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment that fosters respect, motivation, and academic achievement.
