Job Description

The Higher Grade Computer Teacher is responsible for delivering comprehensive and engaging computer science education to students at an advanced level. This role involves planning and implementing curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment, and staying abreast of the latest developments in computer science and technology. The teacher is expected to inspire students to explore and excel in the field of computer science through effective teaching methods and hands-on activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development:
• Design and develop advanced computer science curriculum in alignment with educational standards and objectives.
• Integrate emerging technologies, programming languages, and industry-relevant content into the curriculum.
• Instructional Delivery:
• Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons to students at a higher grade level.
• Provide clear explanations of complex computer science concepts and theories.
• Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills through practical applications.
• Assessment and Feedback:
• Develop and administer assessments to evaluate students' understanding and progress.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Classroom Management:
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a conducive atmosphere for learning.
• Professional Development:
• Stay informed about advancements in computer science, technology, and education.
• Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the school's computer science program.
• Communicate effectively with parents and participate in parent-teacher conferences as needed.
• Technology Integration:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Teaching certification or licensure.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced computer science concepts, programming languages, and technologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Classroom management experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
