We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PGT Commerce Teacher to join our team and teach the ICSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in commerce subjects and a passion for teaching, with the ability to make complex concepts accessible and engaging for students.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Commerce or related field.
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed ) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience as a PGT Commerce teacher in a reputed institution.
• Excellent knowledge of commerce subjects including Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver science lessons in accordance with the ICSE curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and participation
• Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress, attendance, and grades
• Prepare and administer periodic assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress
• Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences, and training workshops to stay updated with educational trends
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Utilize various teaching methods and strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Stay informed about the latest developments in science education and incorporate new techniques into the classroom
• Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs, fairs, and competitions

• Curriculum Delivery:
• Prepare and deliver engaging and effective commerce lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum guidelines.
• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that align with educational standards and objectives.
• Student Assessment:
• Evaluate and assess students' performance through tests, assignments, and examinations.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their understanding and performance in commerce.
• Classroom Management:
• Maintain a disciplined and conducive classroom environment for learning.
• Address and manage any disciplinary issues in accordance with school policies.
• Student Support:
• Provide academic guidance and support to students, including extra help sessions when necessary.
• Monitor and report on the progress and development of students to parents and school administration.
• Professional Development:
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school activities.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of commerce and education.
• Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and school management to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ?20,000.00 per month
