Job Summary:



The

PGT Chemistry Teacher

will be responsible for delivering engaging, well-structured lessons in Chemistry to senior secondary students. The role demands expertise in the subject, a passion for teaching, and the ability to prepare students for academic success in board examinations and competitive entrance exams like NEET, CUET, etc.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of both organic and inorganic chemistry, a learner-centric approach, and a strong command of classroom management. Familiarity with the CBSE/ICSE/State board curriculum and effective integration of technology into teaching is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:Instructional Planning and Delivery:



Teach Chemistry to Grades 11 and 12 as per the CBSE/ICSE/State curriculum. Deliver topics such as: Atomic Structure The Periodic Table Thermodynamics Chemical Bonding Organic Chemistry (Nomenclature, Hydrocarbons, Alcohols, etc.) Inorganic and Physical Chemistry Biomolecules and Environmental Chemistry Prepare detailed lesson plans, teaching aids, and lab activities. Incorporate technology, audiovisual content, and interactive tools into classroom teaching.

Student Evaluation and Support:



Design and administer class tests, assignments, and periodic assessments. Track academic progress and maintain student records. Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support or enrichment sessions. Guide students for practical/laboratory work and maintain safety protocols. Prepare students for board exams and competitive entrance tests (NEET, CUET, etc.).

Classroom and Lab Management:



Maintain discipline and promote a respectful and inclusive classroom environment. Conduct well-planned and safe laboratory experiments and demonstrations. Supervise and evaluate students' practical exam performance.

Curriculum and Professional Collaboration:



Contribute to curriculum development and review. Participate in departmental meetings, faculty training sessions, and school programs. Collaborate with other science faculty members for interdisciplinary projects. Stay updated with current trends in chemical education and assessment patterns.

Parental Communication and Reporting:



Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings and maintain communication regarding student progress. Prepare academic reports and assist in preparing documentation required by the school or board.

Pay: ?45,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
