Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chemistry Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) qualification. As a Chemistry PGT, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to secondary and senior secondary school students, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, and encouraging critical thinking in the field of chemistry.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive and engaging Chemistry lessons to senior students (Grades 11 and 12). Prepare and present lessons in a clear, organized manner. Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments that align with the curriculum. Evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and exams. Foster a student-centric learning environment that encourages curiosity and scientific inquiry. Provide timely feedback and offer academic support to students as needed. Ensure that safety guidelines and laboratory procedures are followed during practical sessions. Collaborate with other faculty members to improve the overall quality of the science department.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Chemistry from a recognized university. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience teaching Chemistry at the senior secondary level. Strong knowledge of the curriculum, syllabus, and exam formats. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage students and encourage a passion for learning Chemistry. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Desirable Skills:

Prior experience teaching at a reputed school. Proficiency in using educational technologies and online learning tools. A commitment to continuous professional development.
