#### Job Purpose


Supervise & coordinate execution of Mechanical Maintenance activities in Packing Plant of Line No. 1 for optimizing plant availability and carryout modification / improvement jobs for cost reduction & productivity improvement.

• KRA 1: Accountability: Plant availability:


Business Delivery- Achieve Cement Mill availability as per budgeted days in the year & 20% Reduction in


mechanical B/D hrs. of Cement Mill compared FY 21-22.

• KRA 2: Cost Control:


Control cost of all the maintenance activities of Cement Mill section as per budget in order to optimize.

• KRA 3: System Implementation:


The system requirements of ISO, EMS, OHSAS, SA 8000 and WCM systems in Cement Mill through the


involvement of employees for improving plant working and quality standard.

• KRA 4: Environment & safety:


Monitor & carryout all the activities required to maintain good housekeeping and safety standards of section.

• KRA 5: Modifications/upgradation:


Identify and carryout various modifications/changes required for improvement in plant working on continuous.

Participation in improvements & submission of kaizen idea sheets, Participation in Daily Self-Maintenance.


Participation in Mega Cleaning / GRT Events, Development of Model Areas,5S Audit Score as per WCM

Professional Experience description: (state key experiences required):

• Plan, Co-ordinate and direct supervision of day-to-day maintenance of plant & Equipment,
• Manpower planning & resource levelling to meet daily maintenance requirement,
• Making preventive maintenance schedule & its execution,
• On job training to front line working crew for safe & quality working, Spare management for day-to-day requirement,
• Responsible for increase the Cement Mill run hours and to reduce unplanned stoppages
• Sound knowledge on Roller press, Ball mill, Bucket elevator, Belt conveyor & fans, safety practices & management system like ISO, WCM and their implementation
• Proficiency in Computers & knowledge of SAP is must
• To maintain S&S & RPM expenses as per budgeted norms.

Critical Job competencies / Mandatory Skills:

• Skill required for Roller press inspection, maintenance & troubleshooting
• Skill required for Ball Mill inspection and maintenance
• Sill required for Bucket elevator & Process fan inspection and maintenance
• Skill required for air slide and Conveyor maintenance
• Skill required for hydraulic system

Professional Qualifications: Diploma/BE in mechanical.

Essential: Sound knowledge on Roller press, Ball mill, and material handling circuit






Qualifications:

Diploma in Mech. Engg.,Bachelor Of Technology


Minimum Experience Level:

4-6 Years
