#### Job Purpose


Assisting, Supervising & Coordinate the Mechanical Design, Engineering, Procurement, Erection & commissioning of the assigned projects and schemes, As per the implementation & quality plan of RC - Line IV in budgeted cost and time.

#### Job Context & Major Challenges


Rajashree Cement is one of the single largest cement plants with an installed capacity to produce 4.7 million tons of cement /annum with captive power plant (58.5 MW) and mines, employing approximately 850 people. It manufactures a range of premium brand of cement and enjoys a reputation of giving value for money. It is one of the largest cement plant at a single location in the country. Rajashree Cement has opted for the Best World Class Technology equipment right from its inception.



The plant consists of 3 Lines. The Line-1 producing 3000 tpd, commissioned in 1984, Line 2 producing 4050 tpd commissioned in 1990 and Line 3 producing 5300 tons of clinker / day was commissioned in 1995. The plant operation is 24 hours/day and 345 days in a year.



The plant has a state of art technology featuring an assemblaze of fuzzy logic, X-Ray analyser and CEM SCANNER to ensure optimum production and quality. The technical know how and main equipment has been obtained from M/s KHD Humboldt Wedag Ltd., Germany. It has also supplied the Roller press technology, which is one of the latest equipment in cement grinding process. The unit has also bulk cement loading arrangement and own 3 rakes of special wagons for transporting loose cement.Major Challenges




• Planning schedule of Scope, Activity, Cost & Time schedule for all Mechanical equipments, activities such as Design concept & its safety aspect, tendering, Technical evaluation and Ordering.



• Study, comment, correction and approval on all related drawings / Design concepts received from Consultant and Main equipment suppliers.



• Planning and supervision of Erection and Commissioning of Mechanical equipment for timely completion of RC IV project.



• Implementation of safety standard as per ABG methodology during design, erection and commission of Mechanical equipments.

KRA1 Project Implementation: Planning and supervision of all Mechanical Activities in your defined area with proper execution of all safety standards.



Ensuring quality in erection & commissioning of Mechanical Equipments.


KRA2 Quality Assurance:



Monitor and control the quality during execution of erection & commissioning Jobs of the section Monitor the quality of erection in your area within the stipulated time.



Monitor the Quality of all material receipt.



Quality in Material storage.


KRA3 Operation & Maintenance Jobs:



Assist superior in all operation maintenance activities to maximize the plant availability to achieve production as per targets. Assisting Superior in:



Studying stoppage report



Studying checklist



Supervising maintenance jobs



Coordination for conditional monitoring.



Developing SAP data.



Organizing material / manpower required.


KRA4 Cost Optimisation:



Assist superior in Study and analyze and maintenance cost compared to budget norms and implement action plans to optimize consumption/ maintenance cost. By Assisting Superior in:



Preparing budgets.



Monitoring actual cost with budget.



Taking corrective actions.



Monitoring inventory.



Identifying Kaizen/focused improvement area.



Studying abnormalities / deviations



Analysing problematic areas



Reviewing material requirement & inventory.



Controlling contractor cost.



Controlling over time.


KRA5 Modification / Upgradation:



Assist superior in Identifying and carryout proposals for modifications / up-gradations for improvement in plant working on continuous basis in the section By Assisting Superior in:



Analyzing problems, breakdowns.



Identifying areas requiring improvement



Carry out why-why analysis.



Review drawings / specifications



Formulate proposal.



Implementation of approved proposals.



Reviewing Technical Cell suggestions and implementation.


KRA6 Safety & statutory compliance:



Assist Superior in Carryout timely inspection of all jobs required as per statutory guidelines and ensure their timely compliance. By Assisting Superior in:



Checking, testing as per guidelines.



Maintain statutory records of the observations.



Taking corrective measures for deviations.



Identifying & rectify unsafe points & unsafe practice in the area.



Training to staff / workmen on safety & treatment.


KRA7 System Implementation:



Assist superior in implementation of ISO, EMS, OHSAS, SA 8000 and WCM systems in his area of operation for the improvement of quality standards and productivity. By participating in all System implementation related activities and implement the systems as per the directions of superior.




Qualifications:

Diploma,Masters of Mechanical Engg.,DXPF3.Bachelor of Engineering


Minimum Experience Level:

5-10 Years
