The job responsibilities of a personal secretary, especially one serving as the right hand of a Managing Director (MD), typically include:
Managing MD's schedule: Scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Screening and prioritizing communications: Handling emails, phone calls, and other correspondence on behalf of the MD.
Handling administrative tasks: Organizing files, maintaining records, and managing office supplies.
Assisting with decision-making: Providing research, analysis, and reports to support the MD in decision-making processes.
Acting as a liaison: Communicating on behalf of the MD with internal and external stakeholders.
Managing projects: Coordinating various projects and ensuring deadlines are met.
Providing personal assistance: Assisting with personal tasks as needed, such as errands or personal appointments.
Maintaining confidentiality: Handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Being adaptable and multitasking: Able to handle various tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Demonstrating a positive attitude: Willingness to take on any task given by the MD happily.
