We are looking for a dedicated and certified

Fitness Trainer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in fitness training with a preference for certifications like

K11, ACE Diploma, B.P.Ed

, or other recognized qualifications. As a Fitness Trainer, you will develop tailored workout plans, offer one-on-one training sessions, and lead group fitness classes, helping clients achieve their fitness goals in a safe, motivating, and results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct fitness evaluations to assess individual client needs and fitness levels. Develop and implement customized fitness plans based on each client's goals, fitness level, and preferences. Provide personal training sessions and group fitness classes with a focus on form, safety, and motivation. Track and monitor client progress, providing support, feedback, and adjustments to their programs as necessary. Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, nutrition basics, and injury prevention. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the fitness space. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and equipment to offer the latest training practices. Build positive relationships with clients, motivating them to stay consistent with their workouts. Collaborate with dietitians, physiotherapists, and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to client health. Promote fitness programs and services to attract new clients and retain current ones.

Qualifications:



Preferred Certifications:

K11 Diploma in Personal Training, ACE (American Council on Exercise) Diploma

, or

Bachelor's in Physical Education (B.P.Ed)

. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a personal trainer or fitness instructor. In-depth knowledge of exercise science, anatomy, and training techniques.

CPR and First Aid certification

(or willingness to obtain). Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire clients. Organizational skills to manage client schedules and track progress. Passionate about health, fitness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals. Experience working with clients of various fitness levels and adapting programs accordingly.

Preferred Skills:



Specialization in areas such as strength and conditioning, rehabilitation, or weight management. Experience in designing sports-specific training programs. Group fitness certification or experience in leading classes such as HIIT, yoga, pilates, or Zumba. Ability to work with clients recovering from injuries or dealing with chronic health conditions.
