Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Cook (Vegetarian) to prepare nutritious, high-quality, and delicious meals for the Chairman at his residence and office. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all meals meet the Chairman's dietary preferences and health requirements while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Meal Preparation:
• Prepare daily vegetarian meals for the Chairman, ensuring a variety of dishes, fresh ingredients, and balanced nutrition.
• Plan and execute menus that align with the Chairman's specific tastes and dietary restrictions.
• Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, ensuring they are served at appropriate times.
• Menu Planning and Grocery Shopping:
• Collaborate with the Chairman or his assistant to plan weekly or monthly menus.
• Purchase and manage inventory of ingredients, ensuring the freshness and quality of food.
• Maintain a budget for groceries, ensuring that all meals are cost-effective without compromising quality.
• Cooking for Office:
• Accompany the Chairman to his office when necessary and prepare meals on-site, ensuring timely and efficient food service.
• Set up a clean, professional kitchen or workspace in the office to prepare meals.
• Hygiene and Cleanliness:
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen, both at the residence and in the office.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met, including proper handling, storage, and preparation of food.
• Personalized Service:
• Adapt meal preparation to suit personal preferences, seasonal ingredients, or special requests (e.g., dietary restrictions, preferences, health concerns).
• Provide a discreet and professional service, maintaining confidentiality regarding the Chairman's preferences.
• Additional Duties:
• Ensure the kitchen is well-organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Help with the maintenance and cleaning of kitchen appliances and tools.
• Occasionally assist with special events or gatherings hosted by the Chairman, if required.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a personal cook or in a similar high-end culinary environment, preferably with experience in vegetarian cooking.
• Skills:
• Expertise in vegetarian and plant-based meal preparation.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements.
• Excellent culinary skills, with the ability to prepare a wide range of cuisines.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow specific dietary preferences and restrictions.
• Personal Traits:
• Discreet, trustworthy, and professional.
• Ability to adapt to the Chairman's changing needs and preferences.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Education: Culinary school education or similar training is preferred.
Working Conditions:
• Hours: Need to attend him with the requirement to be available to prepare meals at various times of the day, both at the residence and office.
• Location: Work will be conducted at both the Chairman's residence and his office.
Compensation:
20,000 to 25000, based on experience (accommodation, as applicable)
