We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant to support a distinguished lawyer in managing their professional and personal responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Manage and prioritize the lawyer's calendar, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and court dates. Coordinate travel arrangements, prepare itineraries, and handle related logistics.
- Communication Management: Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including phone calls, emails, and mail. Draft and proofread documents, letters, and legal briefs as needed.
- Client Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and information. Schedule and coordinate client meetings and ensure timely follow-up.
- Document Management: Maintain and organize confidential legal documents, case files, and records. Ensure proper filing and retrieval of documents and assist in preparing case materials.
- Office Management: Oversee office supplies, equipment, and facilities management. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and legal briefs.
- Research and Preparation: Conduct preliminary legal research, gather information, and prepare summaries as directed by the lawyer. Assist with case preparation and trial logistics.
- Personal Tasks: Manage personal appointments, errands, and other non-work-related tasks to support the lawyer's work-life balance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a personal assistant, executive assistant, or similar role, preferably in a legal environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with legal research tools and case management software.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
