This role is part of a small team of performance and automation engineers supporting all products across our organization. Our business model is hybrid, working from our Bangalore, India campus. What You ll Do Increase performance engineering coverage for BetaNXT offerings. Produce Strategy, Plan, Execution and Result summaries for performance engineering projects. Elicit high level performance and capacity requirements and translate to a performance test approach and testable requirements. Provide report summaries that includes system resource trends along with load metrics. Ability to utilize VUGEN, Analysis and Control modules with extensive LoadRunner scripting expertise. Adequately use Perfmon, Nmon and similar utilities for resource analysis. Ability to use Fiddler and Wireshark to capture traffic and build test scripts. Ability to identify leaks (i.e., pathological trending) in fundamental hardware utilization, garbage collection, networking and storage. Articulate results and conclusive artifacts related to PE engagements. Your Experience Solid understanding of Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) 5 years of exclusive experience with LoadRunner beyond record and replay. Expertise with LoadRunner (Web HTTP, Web services, ODBC, Protocols) 1-3 years of experience with open-source performance tools such as JMeter or Gatling Additional experience with and interest in test automation tools (ie, Selenium/Java) a plus Extensive experience with VUGEN and ANALYSIS for script customization and results analysis Expertise with load testing for Web Services, Micro Services and IIB SOA Service implementation a plus Strong hands-on experience with Performance Engineering process and strategies Skilled at leading discussions with Dev, Product and QA teams in progressing testing tasks and providing periodic updates Analyse root causes of performance issues and provide corrective actions Bachelor s degree in computer science or 5-7 years of relevant work experience Ability to operate under minimal supervision Experience with Mainframe, CICS and DB2 applications a Plus
