Performance Engineer will be responsible for building the performance testing competency for the technology product portfolio in Thomson Reuters OneSource platform. The individual in this role will identify and implement an open source framework, inclusive of process, tools & reports, to effectively test the application performance. In addition to possessing strong expertise on a variety of performance testing tools and methodologies, He/She is expected to have experience in End to End performance engineering tasks (such as Capacity planning).About The Role
In this role as you will:

• Delivers performance testing solutions for a single product and/or participates in complex projects
• May lead straight forward projects that are not complex in nature
• Operates with moderate level of guidance and direction
• Immediate project or QA/Software Development Engineer team
• Engages with cross functional teams to execute
• Detects, highlights and tracks bugs
• Performs activities according to quality criteria
• Delivers testing solutions for a single product and/or participates in complex projects
• Proven ability to work within an agile environment
• Actively and collaboratively contributes to meetings, processes, and agile ceremonies with cross functional teams
• Ensures that risks are identified
• Establishes and maintains ongoing relationships with key customers
• Understands the markets we serve, our products and customers
• Knowledge of business rules related to the company\'s products
• Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into test cases
• Able to interpret customer scenarios and convert them into nonfunctional test scripts
• Understands product strategy & objectives. Aligns QA Engineering work accordingly.
• Addresses routine objections and concerns with limited support; knows when escalation is needed
• Creates operating mechanisms to ensure all voices are heard within the project team; commits to team decisions once made.
• Identifies opportunities to improve business and processes
• Shares information clearly and articulately via all mediums to all audiences
• Learns and adapts; bounces back from setbacks.

About You
You are a fit for this position if your background includes:

• Developing QA Engineer professional
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology or Business-related degree preferred or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of software QA performance testing experience
• Performance Test automation engineering experience with JMeter and LoadRunner testing tools
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines with AWS Cloud.
• Gather Non-Functional Requirements and understand performance SLAs.
• Experience with developing both front-end and back-end automation tests
• Understanding of security best practices for web development

• Create and execute detailed performance test plans related to load, stress, volume, endurance etc.

• Experience with PowerShell/ python
• Knowledge in agile methodologies
