Role

As a Software Engineer specializing in code enhancement and query optimization, you will play a pivotal role in implementing solutions for a variety of projects within a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment. Your primary focus will be on enhancing code efficiency and optimizing database queries to improve overall system performance. You will work closely with performance Architect, DBA, product and marketing managers Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance existing codebase and optimize database queries for improved performance.
• Conduct thorough analysis of system architecture and codebase to identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop new product offerings and enhance existing ones.
• Prepare Technical and Design documents.
• Peer Review requirements and design artifacts, as well as code and configuration.
• Integration test in Development /Integration regions.
• Communicate with managers and peers on assigned work.

Desired Technical Skills

• Object-Oriented Programming.
• .NET framework and .NET Core
• ASP.NET, C# / VB programming, MVC, Web Services,
• ADO.Net, MS SQL
• XML, XPATH, XSLT
• Front-end programming frameworks based on HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery
• Prior experience/familiarity with the Azure Cloud platform
• Experience with DevOps processes and GIT SCM
• Crystal Report or SSRS
• Familiarity with Design Patterns.
• Database Concepts, writing and debugging SQL.
• PL/SQL programming knowledge.
• Good understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms, Database Normalization, Data Integrity, and OOPs.

Desired Business Skills

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and put ideas into a tangible form.
• Prior experience or basic understanding of the Insurance business and Business Automation Process is required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Scrum or other agile development methodologies.
• Good documentation skills.
• Exposure to ISO/CMM processes & procedures.

Education

• A full-time Bachelors'/Masters' Degree from a recognized university.
• Microsoft Certification on .Net technologies and SQL will be a plus.

Experience

• 5+ years in a business application development role in Microsoft technologies.
• Experience in implementing ERP solutions in any industry will be a plus.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development.
• Proven experience as a full-stack developer is an advantage.
• Experience with P&C Insurance Software products will be a plus.
