Performance Assurance Architect



Overall Experience: 14+ years




Roles & Responsibilities:



u As a Performance Architect you will be responsible for leveraging and deploying existing performance testing tools - JMeter, Blaze meter, LoadRunner, AppLoader, Neo load etc and frameworks to test web based, mobile and API apps

u Participate in customer discovery sessions to identify needs and non-functional requirements

u Perform system analysis for solution architecture definition and optimization

u Design & Architect applications/systems that are compliant to scale, responsiveness, reliability for high volume concurrent usages (transactional, batch, middleware etc.)

u Carry out Performance Modelling, Capacity Planning, Hardware Sizing based on workload models and arrive at ballpark estimates for latency characteristics and capacity requirements for Cloud (AWS/AZURE/GCP) and on prem workloads

u Leverage AI/GenAI to build performance testing scripts and analyze results

u Design and construct minimally viable prototypes (MVP) for demonstrate to customers

u Review/Audit application Design & Architecture to check how they support performance requirements and identify performance risks early on and suggest recommendations to remediate them

u Lead and coach team members to build performance right from requirements phase




Technical/Desired Experience:

u Min 8+ years of Software Testing Lifecyle experience with 5+ yrs of experience in performance testing tools (JMeter, Blaze meter, LoadRunner, AppLoader, Neo load etc)

u 2+ years of experience in implementing Performance Monitoring tools (Dynatrace, App Dynamics, CloudWatch/Data Dog, Splunk etc)

u Hands-on in writing clean scripts in Java/JavaScript/Python/Groovy in app profiling/instrumentation

u Ability to leverage AIML to analyze code, configuration, application designs to pin-point root cause of performance & scalability issues using a structure methodology

u Track record of collaborating with various engineering teams to design, analyze, troubleshoot, tune for systems performance & scalability and deliver technical solutions across projects

u Aware of industry trends and best practices around Performance Engineering / Testing methodologies, tools, techniques for microservices, distributed systems, Java/J2EE stacks, Cloud applications to for better performance
