Description General information: Hitachi Energy is a leading supplier of power semiconductors, offering a full range of BiPolar and BiMOS power semiconductors for applications such as industrial, power generation & distribution, transportation, e-mobility, and renewable energy. Research team continues to push the boundaries of what is possible, using silicon (Si) and silicon carbide (SIC) technology to innovate the next generation of power electronics devices In our product evaluation and qualification team (PEQ) at Hitachi Energy Semiconductors, we make sure to get to the bottom of things and deliver faultless robust semiconductor chips and power modules through a rigorous qualification process. Responsibilities: Involved in development projects related to next generations of semiconductor chips and power modules . Close collaboration with the design, process and product engineering teams to evaluate the performance of our new products. Responsible for electrical and reliability testing of product and quality of qualification results. To develop new external testing suppliers (e.g. in Asia) for outsourcing the electrical and reliability tests required for qualification of semiconductor power modules. Monitoring and close work with the test supplier is for sure a key task to ensure quality of results. Develop specific test plans and test specification considering risk assessment, customer requirements and relevant norms. As an analyst, you dive deep into the test results and communicate key findings to project stakeholders. In addition to writing and reviewing test reports, you are accountable for developing faultless product data sheets. Writing scientific papers and presenting the product in fairs and conferences in part of the job. Travel on occasional basis (mainly in Europe or Asia, ~20%). Your background: Bachelor of Engineering ( Electrical & Electronics, Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation) with minimum 5 years of experience /Master of Engineering (Power Electronics and / or Semi Conductor Devices) with minimum 3years of experience in Knowledge of power system/power Electronics / Semi conductors. Should have preferable knowledge in Python, Labview, Matlab, CAD software, Statistical analysis tools, Reliability testing & Microsoft office.
