We are opening a global hub in Chennai, an independent center to enable our global expansion. You will be the first People Operations employee to build everything from scratch in the Chennai office as a leader of the back office. Role and responsibilities: Hire Chennai local talents Manage and operate On-boarding and Off-boarding for Chennai employees Conduct day-to-day operations and the facility management Be a first point of contact for Chennai employee inquiries and support needs Responsibly manage vendors and execute cost-effective purchases to contribute to overall operational efficiency Collaborate with Tokyo, Bangalore, and the US teams and create an effective and efficient workplace culture in the Chennai office Plan and execute actions to engage employees in the Chennai office and achieve a low turnover rate Requiements: Resident of Chennai and willing to work from the office 3+ years of experience in Human Resources and experience as mentioned above, someone with experience in hiring BPO/KPO/ITES industry would be a plus Proficient in English and Tamil language Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders Attention to detail and strong task management skills Willing to travel based on job requirements within Chennai
