About the Role:
This role includes handling employee records, HRIS management and payroll. This role will eventually grow into compliance, benefits administration, and providing support for people related queries. The individual will work closely with other People Ops members to support the overall people strategy and ensure a seamless employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Records Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.
Ensure all employee information is handled with confidentiality and in compliance with data protection regulations.
Manage the documentation process for new hires, including offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding materials.
HR Information System (HRIS) Management:
Administer and maintain the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Generate and analyze HR reports related to headcount, turnover etc.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the HRIS.
Assist in the implementation of new HR systems.
Payroll Support:
Preparation of monthly payroll reports and activity as per payroll calendar.
Collaborate with the payroll team / vendor to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
Support employees to resolve payroll-related queries with payroll team / vendor.
Assist with payroll audits and reporting.
Growth opportunity as a part of the role:
Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Compliance and Policy Administration: Manage compliances with local, state, and federal regulations on monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis.
Employee Relations: Support in pre-onboarding and onboarding activities, onboarding orientation program schedule, resolving any new hire queries or coordinating with concerned parties, tracking onboarding completion and ensuring a smooth experience for new hires.
About You:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management.
3-5 years of experience in HR operations or a similar role in the IT industry.
Strong knowledge of Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
