Job Description


:As a People and Culture Specialist at Vimeo, you will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture and enhancing engagement for APAC employees.Your responsibilities encompass creating a conducive workplace atmosphere, plan and execute culture and engagement programs, serve as point of contact for workplace concerns, execute administrative tasks and enforce HR and ER protocols. Your role will also involve leveraging strong data analytics skills to measure and enhance employee engagement and efficiency. You will develop and implement practices that promote collaboration and efficiency in both remote and in-office settings.What you\'ll do:

  • Ensure seamless execution of all HR programs and processes within the company
  • Conceptualise and implement various employee engagement initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver internal communication strategy, plan a calendar of activities, organize events in a remote/in-person setting and co-ordinate with various departments and stakeholders until closure.
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment.
  • Manage and conduct the Onboarding and off boarding processes.
  • Update, maintain and report on employee data on various HR Systems. Conduct regular audits to ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Respond to routine HR queries from managers and employees.
  • Vendor administration for HR benefits (insurance, health checks, meal and gift vouchers, swag, background verification check etc)
  • Demonstrate high standards for maintaining confidentiality, and develop a clear understanding of internal systems and policies.
  • Engage with peers from global offices, managers and heads of departments.
  • Analyze existing programs and make recommendations where necessary for ongoing improvements.
Skills and knowledge you should possess:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR roles within the tech industry.
  • MBA or Postgraduate degree would be a plus.
  • Proven experience in leading HR processes, including onboarding and offboarding, performance review cycle, engagement surveys, facilitation of group sessions, top talent retention, and separations.
  • Strong consulting, communication, and influencing skills with the proven ability to position as a trusted partner.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for branding and design.
  • Strong data analytics skills.
  • Familiarity with working within a global team.
