Position Title: People Analytics Leader Location: Chennai, India OR Remote Division: People Experience (PX) Reports to: Vice President, PX Foundations Position Overview The People Analytics Leader role plays a critical function in leveraging data and analytics to drive strategic decisions within the People Experience (PX) organization and within the Company. This role is responsible for leading a team of analysts and collaborating with PX leaders to deliver insights, action plans, and meaningful analytics to drive informed decisions and to help leadership be successful. This position provides insights, recommendations, and a data-driven strategy that enhances the organization\'s overall people effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Serve as a highly visible thought leader and partner to help drive the transformation of the People Analytics function. Partner with PX and business leaders to understand key business problems and design analyses to answer these questions and generate solutions Collaborate with the PX Leadership and functional teams such as Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Total Rewards, People Engagement, Learning & Development, and DEI to find innovative ways to deliver meaningful metrics, trends, key insights, and analysis in clear, concise stories for various stakeholders at all levels. Drive key data projects (data warehouse / data lake) with a strong understanding of data architecture and project management. Responsible for Data storytelling, data visualization, dashboards and reporting. Provide thought leadership on People Analytics best practices, and will co-develop, and co-execute strategy on People Analytics Offerings with the VP, PX Foundations. Communicate with colleagues and leaders at all levels of the organization with the ability to explain technical complexities to leaders that have limited or no experience with data. Creates and maintains process documentation and scalable workflows Innovate and evolve people analytics by leveraging automation, AI, and Machine Learning. Strong experience connecting complex systems and leveraging data from multiple sources Skills, Abilities & Experience Required Bachelor\'s Degree OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience 12+ years of professional HR or business experience and 5+ years of working experience in Business Analytics or People Analytics functions 3+ years working with a variety of Business Intelligence tools (Domo, Tableau, PowerBI). 5+ years of people management experience and cross-functional teams 5+ years of experience leading technical projects Experience in working with Business Leaders to design and develop business-facing data stories, dashboard solutions Experience working with Relational Database Management System Expertise in data visualization and data storytelling Experience building advanced statistical models, machine learning models, or other advanced analytics Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Our Company Trimble is transforming the way the world works by delivering products and services that connect the physical and digital worlds.
