Description:Responsibilities:
As part of our Quality Assurance team the ideal candidate will be responsible to prepare, develop, and execute test strategies. As a Quality Assurance Analyst your role will include the following:
Develop and maintain test strategy and plans for PenRad applications
Develop automated and manual tests
Maintain test automation pipelines
In collaboration with the software developers, provide tier 4 support for service escalations.
Deploy and maintain testing environments.
Participate in continuous Quality Assurance training and education in order to improve quality and productivity within the QA team.
Required Experience and Skills:
A qualified candidate must have a solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline and test automation. The candidate must be willing to gain competence in our core technologies to develop a higher understanding of the role, processes and procedures.
Mandatory qualifications:
BS engineering, computer science or equivalent software engineering experience
2+ years software testing
Automated testing experience of desktop and web applications
Automated testing experience with Ranorex or similar
Experience writing automated performance, stress, and load tests
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional analytical, enterprise-minded and innovative problem-solving abilities
Exceptional candidates will have one or more of the following qualifications:
3+ years software development (C/C++,C#, Java or other)
2+ years RDBMS software development (SQL, T-SQL)
2+ years Web client-side (Javascript, React)
1+ years Web server-side (PHP, ASP, and/or Ruby)
Experience with Web Services (AJAX, IIS)
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Lean, )
Experience with multiple agile tools (Jira, You Track, )
Experience with DICOM and HL7 applications and/or protocols
Experience with scientific or medical software applications
Experience with FDA, HIPPA, MILSPEC, or other regulated environment
