:We are seeking a driven and technically proficient PEB Sales Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in driving sales growth for our Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) systems. By leveraging your combined sales and technical expertise, you will identify new customer opportunities, develop customized solutions, and close deals to achieve sales targets.Responsibilities:
Generate leads and qualify potential customers for PEB structures within your assigned territory.
Understand customer requirements, both technical and commercial, to propose optimal PEB solutions. This may involve analyzing space needs, budget constraints, and project timelines.
Develop and present technical and commercial proposals, including detailed specifications, pricing options, and financing solutions.
Negotiate contracts with clients to secure profitable sales agreements for PEB projects.
Maintain and develop relationships with clients to build long-term partnerships and generate repeat business.
Technical Expertise:
Possess a strong understanding of PEB systems, including design, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
Be able to interpret architectural drawings and specifications to determine PEB suitability for a project.
Effectively communicate the benefits and advantages of PEB systems compared to traditional building methods.
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proposed PEB solutions meet client requirements, building codes, and safety standards.
Sales and Business Development:
Participate in industry events and trade shows to network and generate leads for PEB projects.
Prepare sales reports and forecasts to track progress against sales targets and identify new business opportunities.
Liaise with internal departments like production and engineering to ensure smooth project execution after a sale is secured.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new PEB technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (e.g., Architecture) is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
Experience in selling complex technical products or engineered building solutions is a plus.
Strong understanding of PEB systems or prefabricated structures is highly beneficial.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role.
Proficiency in technical software and a strong understanding of architectural drawings are valuable assets.
