Inviting applications for the role of the Claims Specialist \xe2\x80\x93Domain trainee- German- Remote Poland
We are looking for a Claims Specialist. In this position responsible for activities related to analysing, resolving and settling customer trade and price claims. The Claims Specialist role is to resolve and respond to Customer\xe2\x80\x99s Claims / Deductions in a timely and professional manner. The general purpose of this role is to investigate, evaluate and conclude whether the deduction taken by the customer is a valid or invalid one.
Role and Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely claim investigation \xe2\x80\x93 identifying the relevant documentation to conduct claim investigation for each claim type and sourcing through the right systems/channels
  • Escalation (to Collections) of invalid claims, that translate into collectable amounts
  • Proactively flag accrual gaps in SAP rebate agreements
  • Assist automated claim registration and validation; manually process claims (including collating back-up documentation) in case of tool absence or failure
  • Triger approval workflows as per claim status and follow-up if necessary
  • Trigger resolution workflows to corresponding parties if resolution is not automated
  • Send customer resolution communication along with necessary documentation
  • Resolve Claims / Deductions within TAT
  • Follow defined critical issue matrix and raise alert whenever required
  • Maintain regular contact with Finance, Sales and local Operations to resolve disputes and recovery of invalid claims
  • Support initiatives related to process and technology to drive best in class
  • Follow-up with various departments to get supporting documents/ info for dispute/deductions resolution
  • Responsible for maintaining overall deductions balance targets as required by the organization
  • Understanding of business & local market specifics when applicable.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
  • Any Graduate / preferably B.Com or Accounting
  • Flexibility to work in any shift
  • English level B2
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Should come with experience in Disputes Management and must have overall Bill to Cash knowledge and understanding
  • Ability to identify issues proactively and troubleshoot in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication, Influencing, Interpersonal skills
  • Experience in Microsoft suite including Outlook, Power Point and MS Teams; advanced Excel skills, automated deduction tools (preferable)
  • Customer Centric Mindset, Ability to challenge status quo and being proactive
  • Self-motivated and independent personality with strong problem-solving skills as well as a strongly developed proposal thinking mindset

Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in customer business and trade term tools (e.g., ACTPM CBP, Anaplan, SAP)
  • Exposure to consumer goods industry and retail promotions
  • Understands digital concepts and can identify opportunities to drive efficiency and improvements.
  • Exposure to technologies like Pega, SAP, HighRadius
  • Accounting skills including Budgeting, Forecasting and Reconciliations
  • Knowledge of all different types of claims and deductions like OS&D (Overage, Shortage and Damage), Pricing, Coupon Deductions, Promo, etc.
  • Understanding of business and local market specifics when applicable
