Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PCB Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing complex printed circuit boards (PCBs) from conception to manufacturing. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, PCB design software proficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• PCB Design : Design and develop PCB layouts for new products or modifications based on engineering requirements and constraints.
• Component Selection : Work closely with hardware engineers to select appropriate components that meet electrical and mechanical design requirements.
• Schematic Capture : Create and maintain schematic diagrams using industry-standard EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tools.
• Design Optimization : Optimize PCB designs for performance, cost, manufacturability, and reliability.
• Design Verification : Perform design validation and testing to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
• Collaboration : Coordinate with mechanical engineers, firmware developers, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and production readiness.
• Documentation : Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation including PCB specifications, design files, and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Prototyping Support : Support prototype builds and debugging efforts, and iterate designs based on test results and feedback.

Requirements:

• Education : B. Tech (ECE/ EEE)
• Experience :
• Proven experience 3 to 5years in PCB design, including multilayer boards, high-speed digital, and analog circuits.
• Proficiency in using PCB design software such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar tools.
• Skills :
• Strong understanding of PCB layout principles, signal integrity, and EMC/EMI considerations.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for PCB design and manufacturing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Communication : Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across disciplines and levels of the organization.
• Attention to Detail : Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality designs.
• Familiarity with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.

Experience: 3- 5 years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ?500,000.00 per year
