This role involves handling payroll calculations, deductions, compliance with federal and state laws, and addressing payroll-related inquiries from employees. The specialist will work closely with the HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.What will you do

  • Process bi-weekly or monthly payrolls for US-based employees.
  • Calculate wages, salaries, bonuses, and deductions accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and regulations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely year-end reporting, including W-2s.
  • Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Liaise with HR and Finance to resolve any payroll issues.
  • Offcycle Check Processing
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 0 to 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multi-state environment.

  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll laws.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
