Job Title: Payroll Executive Purpose: The purpose of hiring a payroll executive is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for the clients. Payroll is a critical function within any organization, as it involves calculating and distributing employees\' salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions. The role of a payroll executive is essential for several reasons: Prior Experience Required: At least 4 years of experience in a payroll management role in an outsourcing company Department: Operations Fixed Salary Bracket: 45k to 55k CTC Educational Background Expected: Graduate in any stream is fine. Other Skills Required: Payroll Processing Expertise: A deep understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and benefits administration is essential. This includes knowledge of calculating salaries, wages, deductions, taxes, and other compensation components accurately. Attention to Detail: Payroll involves intricate calculations and data entry. A payroll executive must be meticulous and detail-oriented to ensure that no errors occur in paychecks, tax filings, or other financial records. Mathematical Acumen: Strong mathematical skills are crucial for calculating complex payroll figures, including gross and net pay, taxes, deductions, and benefits. Legal and Regulatory Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with labour laws, tax regulations, and employment-related compliance requirements at the local, state, and federal levels to ensure the company\'s payroll practices remain compliant. Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with payroll software and tools is essential for efficient payroll processing. Knowledge of spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel) and other relevant applications is also valuable. Data Management: Effective data management skills are necessary to maintain accurate payroll records, track changes, and generate reports as needed. Confidentiality: Payroll executives handle sensitive employee information, including financial data. Maintaining strict confidentiality is crucial to protect employee privacy and prevent data breaches. Job Brief: \xc2\xb7 At least 4 years of experience in a payroll management role in an outsourcing company \xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of cloud-based software for payroll management \xc2\xb7 Proficient in Indian income tax laws and benefits, specifically sections 80C, 80CCD, 80D, etc. \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with tax benefit components such as LTA and attire allowances \xc2\xb7 Experience with attendance regularisation and mobile-based attendance integration \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Utilize cloud-based software to manage payroll for our clients \xc2\xb7 Stay up-to-date with changes in income tax laws and regulations, particularly with regard to tax benefits such as 80C, 80CCD, and 80D \xc2\xb7 Design CTC packages that optimize tax benefits for employees \xc2\xb7 Handle new clients independently, ensuring a smooth onboarding process \xc2\xb7 Maintain open and clear communication with clients and team members \xc2\xb7 Led the entire end-to-end payroll and HR operation functions, ensuring compliance with operating procedures and deadlines. \xc2\xb7 Processed starters and leavers accurately and in a timely manner, handling manual adjustments and data updates. \xc2\xb7 Managed monthly reimbursements for car, books & periodicals, entertainment, LTA, and telephone, aligning with eligibility criteria. \xc2\xb7 Prepared payment reports and bank advice, and generated department-wise reports for clients. \xc2\xb7 Successfully processed Full & Final settlement of resigned employees. \xc2\xb7 Responsible for quarterly & annually ETDS filing. \xc2\xb7 Checked investment proofs and worked on quarterly and yearly ETDS files to generate Form 16. \xc2\xb7 Managed PF, PTAX, and ESIC payments and returns.
