You will play a pivotal role in managing compensation and benefits programs, overseeing payroll processes in India. The successful candidate will also be responsible for data reconciliation, process improvement initiatives, and collaborating with various teams and auditors to ensure accurate and efficient People Services operations.Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

  • Assist with Comp & Benefit structure building/reporting, e.g. preparing different promotion, merit increase scenarios for internal talent mobility
  • Help with Compensation structure, Annual Merit, Annual Bonus reconciliation and Workday updates
  • Review Payroll inputs and along with sharing responsibility of preparing some of inputs
  • Administer and support employee benefit program such as company insurance, company car lease, meal card, national pension scheme etc.
  • Must collaborate with Insurance vendor, Other benefit vendors, Finance, and Total Rewards COE team
  • Expertise in India Payroll Tax and other payroll compliances and excellent employees engagement skills
  • Assist in the development of payroll and employee benefits procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Co-ordinate with auditors for completion of internal and statutory audits for payroll and benefits
  • Completing Internal Financial Controls requirements within defined timelines
  • Use advanced Excel skills, formulas, and macros to reconcile complex payroll matters.
  • Effectively conducting induction session for new joiners
  • Handle Compensation and Benefits related employee queries on ServiceNow case management tool.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor Degree with 10-12 years progressive payroll and total rewards experience with exposure to multi-national payroll operations.
  • Proven experience of leading a team in shared services is highly desired.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in using SAP Payroll and Workday HR systems.
  • Proven experience in leading employees in identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Ability to think through complex issues and situations and develop robust, well thought out solutions which meet the need of the business
  • Effectively Works with Others - Works well with internal customers and external suppliers and can positively influence others in problem solving and work process improvements
  • Excellent Customer Service skills - ability to communicate to all people at all levels within the organization.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of the relationship between functions within a company, ensuring seamless collaboration.
