Position: Payroll Executive

Reports To: Payroll Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills, experience handling payroll for a minimum of 300 employees, and strong client coordination abilities. The Payroll Executive will be responsible for processing payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

• Process and manage payroll for a minimum of 300 employees accurately and timely.
• Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently.
• Maintain payroll records and reports.

Client Coordination:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related client inquiries and issues.
• Coordinate with clients to gather necessary payroll data and ensure timely submission.
• Provide exceptional client service and maintain strong client relationships.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with relevant federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Prepare and submit required payroll reports to regulatory agencies.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations.

Data Management:

• Maintain and update employee payroll records in the payroll system.
• Verify and reconcile payroll data for accuracy.
• Generate reports and provide analysis as required.

Excel and Data Analysis:

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze payroll data.
• Create and maintain complex spreadsheets for payroll calculations and reporting.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing.
• Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
• Support the payroll team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce , or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in payroll processing, with experience handling payroll for at least 300 employees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and client coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with payroll software and systems is a plus.
