Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll and Compliance Specialist to manage the complete payroll process and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in payroll systems, compliance management, and strong analytical skills to handle payroll-related challenges efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.
• Calculate and verify employee salaries, allowances, and deductions in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including employee data, attendance, and timesheets.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure the smooth exchange of payroll-related information.
• Manage statutory compliance for PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, and other applicable labor laws, ensuring timely filings and reporting.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly returns under PF, ESIC, and PT regulations.
• Assist employees with ESIC benefits, including card issuance and claims settlement.
• Monitor and maintain payroll tax compliance, including accurate tax calculations and timely submissions.
• Generate payroll-related reports such as salary statements, compliance reports, and cost analyses.
• Prepare salary structures adhering to the latest minimum wage regulations.
• Maintain registers and records as per the Factory Act, Shop Act, and other employment laws.
• Handle employee queries related to payroll, tax deductions, and statutory benefits.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
• Thorough understanding of labor laws and tax regulations (PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
