Overview:
The Support Specialist (US Payroll) is responsible for support to US Payroll team. This position requires attention to detail, independence, and Excel skills. The specialist will collaborate with the US payroll team to handle multiple tasks related to payroll administration. Considering that the role will support US payroll process, the expected working hours are 2PM to 11PM IST Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Verify employee timesheets, deductions, and other relevant information.
• Collation of departures input for full & final settlement
• Add necessary items to the payroll checklist if needed.
• Maintain all relevant documents in the payroll folder.
• Validation of time and absence data for payroll processing
• Audit of new hire data for payroll processing.
• Communicate necessary details to the processing team.
• Reconciliation of data.
Qualifications:
Qualifications • 0-2 years of experience in a payroll role for a Service company/ MNC.
• Understanding of payroll processes and documentation.
• Track record for meeting deadlines
• Service oriented with a collaborative approach toward problem solving.
• Proficient using Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
• Some knowledge or experience in accounting aspects.
Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in any stream
