Payments Team: The Toast Payments teams are the hidden heroes and heroines of Toast. Your team ensures a restaurant can always perform the mission critical act of taking a payment from a guest, even in the middle of a power outage! As an integrated payment processor, Toast processes millions of dollars per day, and at the end of the day, makes sure that money gets to a restaurant\'s bank account. The Payment Operations Manager will help scale and manage the Payments Operations team which runs the pricing and financial analysis of prospective and live customers. Responsibilities include deal pricing for SMB opportunities, strategic initiative execution, team management (analyst level), process improvement and supporting our customer base. About this roll*

• Lead and manage day to day activities in Payment Operations including analysis pipeline and escalations
• Be the key point of contact for Payment Operations local functions in the region
• Coach and mentor a team of Payment Operations Analysts, responsible for payments analysis, operations and ad hoc project support
• Develop and collaborate in the creation of performance metric dashboards for team
• Propose potential process improvement opportunities and participate in department process efficiency efforts
• Deliver a best-in-class payments experience to Toast restaurants and prospects through successful communication and maintain SLAs accountability
• Become a subject matter expert regarding Toast\'s payment solutions, deeply understand the payments value proposition, and how Toast Payments specifically meets restaurant needs
• Understand all of Toast Payments\'s processes and procedures; constantly improving upon them to gain greater efficiency and accuracy
• Report and analyze on our customer base to identify trends and help drive future recommendations
• Serve as an escalation point as needed
• Collaborate as needed across all levels of the Fintech organization by developing an understanding of Toast\'s business model, company goals, and internal processes

Do you have the right ingredients*?

• Bachelor\'s Degree, 5+ years of experience in Financial Services, Business Operations, Analytics, Consulting, or similar experience
• 3+ years of people management experience
• Deep financial and analytical capabilities; Advanced Excel skills
• Metric driven and operationally minded
• Comfortable working with SQL/Snowflake/Excel/G-Suite/data visualization tools
• Prior experience mentoring/training junior employees; leading or managing a team is strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, organizational, decision making, and communication skills
• Strong process and change management skills
