Hi,

Kadri mills part of KG group hiring for Pattern Master at Coimbatore location.

Role: Pattern Master

Exp: Min 5 to 10yrs

Location: Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities:

Create patterns for new garments, ensuring accurate sizing and fit.

Modify existing patterns based on design changes or feedback.

Collaborate with designers, tailors, and production teams to ensure patterns meet design specifications and production capabilities.

Use computer-aided design (CAD) software for pattern making.

Maintain and organize pattern archives and ensure proper documentation.

Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to ensure the perfect fit and quality of garments.

Work closely with the sampling department to develop prototypes.

Stay updated on current fashion trends, fabric characteristics, and garment construction techniques.

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in pattern making within the apparel industry.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Lectra, Gerber, Optitex).

Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and grading.

Excellent attention to detail and precision in pattern creation and adjustments.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot fit and construction issues.

Good communication skills to interact with designers, tailors, and production staff.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with 3D pattern making software.

Knowledge of sustainable fashion practices.

Experience in multiple garment categories (e.g., menswear, womenswear, kidswear).
