Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pattern Master specializing in Indian wear ( Boys and Girls Ethnic Wear ) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pattern making, manufacturing, and production planning within the Indian wear industry.

Responsibilities:

1. •Pattern Making Skills•: You should have advanced knowledge of pattern making techniques, including draping, flat pattern making, and grading to create intricate and precise patterns for luxury garments.

2. •Garment Construction•: Understanding garment construction is essential to ensure that the patterns you create translate into well-fitted and high-quality finished garments.

3. •Attention to Detail•: Precision and attention to detail are key in pattern making to ensure that every seam, dart, and curve align perfectly to achieve the desired fit and design.

4. •Creativity•: While following design specifications, having a creative eye to interpret sketches and turn them into patterns that enhance the aesthetics of luxury clothing is crucial.

5. •Technical Skills•: Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software for pattern making can streamline the process and help in creating accurate patterns efficiently.

6. •Communication Skills•: Collaborating with designers, sample makers, and production teams requires effective communication to ensure everyone is aligned on the design vision and production requirements.

7. •Problem-Solving Abilities•: Being able to troubleshoot and adjust patterns as needed during the sampling and fitting process is important to achieve the desired outcome.

Requirements:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Pattern Master or similar role within the Indian wear industry.
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian garment construction techniques.
- Proven expertise in pattern making software and tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Leadership capabilities for managing a team of pattern makers effectively.
