Position: Pattern Maker
Location: Chhayagaon, Guwahati

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Pattern Maker to join our manufacturing team, specializing in railway items. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pattern making, with a focus on precision and quality to ensure the successful production of railway components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create patterns for various railway items using materials such as wood, metal, or synthetic composites.
• : Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate pattern creation.
• Conduct inspections and tests on patterns to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Work closely with engineers and production teams to optimize patterns for manufacturability and efficiency.
• Maintain and repair pattern-making tools and equipment to ensure their longevity and performance.
• Maintain accurate records of patterns, including modifications and revisions.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate or Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of experience as a Pattern Maker, preferably in the railway or heavy manufacturing sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software and traditional pattern-making techniques. Familiarity with CNC machines is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in working with various materials commonly used in railway manufacturing.
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?28,000.00 per month
