Job Description

• To engage in discussion with the patients and analyze the problem and its severity
• To collect entire history of the patients.
• Counsel patients recommended for surgeries/the procedures.
• Coordination of Tele-consultation with consultants at the base hospital for all patients
• Interviews patients to obtain accurate demographic and financial information from self-pay and high risk patients
• Documents all patient account correspondence in the appropriate note field, designated forms, or databases
• Explains financial options and provides financial counseling to patients
• Facilitates processing of financial assistance/charity care applications
• Monitors outstanding high dollar patient accounts to pursue payment arrangements or other options
• Performs daily payment reconciliation activities
• May also assist with scheduling diagnostic or surgical procedures, conducting physician office/patient interviews, and explains hospital procedure guidelines and policies
• Investigate complex reimbursement issues pursuing appropriate actions to include statusing, adjustments, refunds, and transfers or billing third party payers
• Educate patients regarding transplant financial process benefit coverage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
