Key Responsibilities
• Patient Admission Process:
• Facilitate the admission of patients by verifying documentation, collecting necessary information, and ensuring all forms are completed accurately.
• Guide patients and their families through the admission process, explaining procedures, policies, and room options.
• Coordination with Departments:
• Coordinate with medical, nursing, and administrative departments to ensure readiness for the patient's arrival.
• Notify relevant departments, such as billing and housekeeping, to prepare for admissions.
• Documentation and Record Management:
• Ensure accurate entry of patient information into the hospital management system.
• Maintain and update admission records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies.
• Billing and Insurance Assistance:
• Assist patients with initial billing estimates, deposit collection, and insurance-related queries during admission.
• Coordinate with the billing and TPA (Third-Party Administrator) teams for cashless or insured admissions.
• Customer Service:
• Address patient and family queries with professionalism and empathy.
• Resolve or escalate admission-related concerns promptly to ensure patient satisfaction.
